Stephen D. Taus, M.D.

Dr. Stephen Taus wanted be a doctor, just like his father since the age of five. During high school, he began taking x-rays in his father’s office. By the age of 19 he earned a license to practice Radiological Technology. He attended the famous Bronx High School of Science in New York, graduating in 1962. He then attended New York University and graduated in 1966. In 1970 he graduated from the Chicago Medical School. Internship and Medical Residency were spent in the United States Public Health Service Hospital, in Staten Island, New York from 1970-1973. Dr. Taus is Board Certified in Internal Medicine.

Dr. Taus was an attending staff physician in Internal Medicine at Kaiser Hospital in Harbor City, California from 1973-1979.

Dr. Taus opened his own office in San Pedro, California in 1979. He has been in solo practice since then.

Throughout his career he has sought to increase his medical knowledge in all areas. Dr. Taus has always been interested in the total well being of his patients.

In 2003, he completed a course in acupuncture. Since then he has been utilizing acupuncture in his practice with wonderful results.

The main reason he wrote the book and filmed the dvd was to assist students and medical professionals in their quest to relieve suffering.

Dr. Taus is happily married to wife Janice for over 35 years. They had three children, Kim, Steve, and Lauren.
